This is the best dining-to-price ratio in Duluth, and it is not close. Lincoln Park has more walkable food and drink than any neighborhood in this guide except the East End, at roughly half the housing cost.
The Craft District core, on West Superior Street between roughly 18th and 20th Avenue West, holds most of it. OMC Smokehouse does smoked meats with a patio. Ursa Minor Brewing runs a taproom with rotating food trucks. Duluth Cider and Wildstate Cider give the district two cideries, which is unusual anywhere. Duluth's Best Bread supplies the bakery end. A few blocks over on West Michigan Street, Bent Paddle Brewing is the production brewery most credited with starting the whole thing, and its beer distributes statewide.
Duluth Grill, a short distance west, is the neighborhood's best-known restaurant: scratch cooking with gardens on the property, breakfast through dinner, and a weekend brunch wait that regulars plan around. It is named consistently as part of the district's backbone alongside Bent Paddle, Duluth's Best Bread, and Frost River.
Beyond the neighborhood, downtown is six minutes east for the city's full range, and the east side's options are ten to fifteen minutes out. But the point of Lincoln Park is that you rarely need to leave.
