About Bent Paddle Brewing
Bent Paddle Brewing is the business most often credited with starting the Lincoln Park Craft District, and it is the anchor of what is now the most talked-about commercial revival in Duluth. The Star Tribune's account of the neighborhood's transformation puts brewers and makers at the center of it, and Bent Paddle at the center of them (accessed 2026-08-13).
The taproom sits on West Michigan Street in the district's core, a few blocks off the West Superior Street storefronts that filled in around it. Its beer distributes across Minnesota and beyond, which makes it one of the few Duluth businesses with genuine statewide brand recognition.
For anyone weighing Lincoln Park as a place to live, Bent Paddle is the practical evidence that the neighborhood's turnaround is real rather than aspirational: a production brewery with a busy taproom does not survive in a district nobody visits.
Good to know: taproom, production brewery, canned beer distribution, events, Lincoln Park Craft District anchor.
