About Clyde Iron Works
Clyde Iron Works is a restaurant and event hall in the surviving buildings of the Clyde Iron Works foundry on West Michigan Street in Lincoln Park.
The plant built heavy hoisting and logging equipment, and the site was reworked into a restaurant and event venue, which makes it the largest single piece of adaptive reuse on Duluth's west side. It is the venue half that matters most for a neighborhood guide: weddings, concerts and conferences bring people into Lincoln Park who would otherwise not come here, and the district's other businesses trade on that.
The kitchen is wood-grilled and burger-led. Note the week before you plan around it: the restaurant runs Thursday to Sunday only, closed Monday through Wednesday, per its own site.
One address note, because third-party listings disagree. Some carry a Helm Street address for this business, which is a service or footprint artifact of a large industrial site. The company's own contact page gives a single address, 2920 West Michigan Street, for both the restaurant and the events side, and that is what this record uses.
Good to know: wood-grilled burgers, wood-fired kitchen, event venue, restored foundry complex, closed Monday to Wednesday.
