About Love Creamery (Lincoln Park)

Love Creamery's Lincoln Park shop is the company's flagship and its test kitchen: this is where new flavors are developed before they reach the other two shops. It works as a cafe as much as a scoop shop, with a traditional espresso bar, seasonal baked goods, and vegan and gluten-free ice creams alongside the dairy ones (Love Creamery, accessed 2026-08-14).

It sits in the middle of the Lincoln Park Craft District on West Superior Street, a block or two from Bent Paddle, OMC Smokehouse and Dovetail, which is the densest walkable food and drink stretch anywhere on Duluth's west side. For buyers, that cluster is the whole argument for Lincoln Park: a neighborhood of modest older housing that happens to have the best small commercial strip in west Duluth attached to it.

The business was founded by Nicole Wilde, who started out churning on a hobby farm and selling scoops from a cart at farmers markets, and it has since taken a Midwest Living best-ice-cream-parlor award and a Minnesota Best gold. Hours here are published by the shop as daily 10am to 10pm, which is unusually long for the trade, but confirm before making a special trip.

Good to know: small-batch ice cream, vegan options, gluten-free options, espresso bar, seasonal baked goods, ice cream cakes, experimental flavor kitchen.
