The neighborhood sits between the Congdon Park Elementary and Myers-Wilkins catchments, and the boundary between them was not established in the research run on 2026-08-14. Congdon Park Elementary is at 3116 East Superior Street with about 474 students in K-5; Myers-Wilkins is at 1027 North 8th Avenue East, west across the creek, with about 329 students in PK-5 (NCES Common Core of Data 2024-2025, accessed 2026-08-14). Contact ISD 709 with the specific address or use the district's school locator. Do not assume from the neighborhood name.
The middle and high pathway is more settled. The east-side route runs Ordean East Middle School at 2900 East 4th Street, about 1,037 students and roughly five minutes east along the cross-slope route, then Duluth East High School at 301 North 40th Avenue East, about 1,495 students and the larger of the district's two high schools. Confirm with the district, but this is the likely assignment at this location.
There is also a small ISD 709 alternative program named for the creek: Chester Creek Academy at 714 1/2 West College Street, up by the campuses, with about 31 students across K-12. It is an application program serving students across the district, not a neighborhood school.
Private options are close. Marshall School, the independent non-sectarian college-prep school at 1215 Rice Lake Road, is about six minutes up the hill and is the nearest private school to this neighborhood.
