Riverside

Restaurants & dining in Riverside, Duluth, Minnesota

Part of the Riverside neighborhood guide. Back to the full guide.

Riverside has no restaurants, cafes or bars of its own.

The nearest options are over the hill in Proctor, about ten to eleven minutes north: Black Woods Grill & Bar for a full-service meal and Gronk's Grill and Bar for the neighborhood-bar slot. That is the practical answer for most evenings.

Northeast, eighteen to nineteen minutes, the Lincoln Park Craft District carries the region's most interesting eating and drinking: Duluth Grill for scratch cooking, OMC Smokehouse for barbecue, Bent Paddle Brewing and Ursa Minor for taprooms.

Downtown and Canal Park are about twenty minutes for the full range.

The honest framing: eating out from here is a planned trip in one of two directions, and the distances are the price of the address. If you cook and treat a restaurant meal as a deliberate outing, it is manageable.
