Look elsewhere if a summer of tourist traffic past your front windows would grate, because that is the trade for being on the good road. And look elsewhere if shoreline ownership obligations, erosion, setbacks, ice loading, well and septic, sound like burdens rather than the price of admission.

If you want this shoreline with a Duluth address and city services, look at the North Shore strip past Brighton Beach. If you want a town around you, look at Two Harbors twelve minutes northeast. If you want the same district at a much lower price, look at Silver Bay.
