About Caribou Coffee, Hermantown
This is the honest entry. Hermantown has no independent coffee shop that functions as a neighborhood gathering place, and the drive-through Caribou on the Miller Trunk corridor is, realistically, the city's morning coffee.
It is worth saying plainly because it is one of the clearest trade-offs in choosing Hermantown over a Duluth neighborhood. Lakeside has Amity, Lincoln Park has a craft district, Congdon has coffee within walking distance. Hermantown has a drive-through and a highway.
The nearest independent coffee is down the hill in Duluth, ten to fifteen minutes depending on where in the city you land.
Good to know: drive-through coffee, espresso, pastries, wifi.
Neighborhoods it serves
The Twin Ports' new-construction suburb: level lots, its own schools, and everything on Miller Hill five minutes away.
ProctorThe railroad town on the hill: small district, small prices, and the Munger Trail out the back.
Duluth HeightsDuluth's most convenient address, wrapped around the shopping.
