About Black Woods Grill & Bar, Duluth
The Duluth Black Woods sits on London Road, the lakeside corridor running east from the Fitger's complex through the East End toward Lakeside.
It is the London Road member of a three-restaurant group, alongside Proctor and Two Harbors, and it is the one most Duluth households mean when they say Black Woods. For a neighborhood guide, its value is that London Road is otherwise thin on full-service restaurants: the corridor carries motels, fast food and older bars, and sits between two of the city's most expensive residential areas without serving either as a walkable street. A steakhouse-scale room with banquet space changes what Congdon and Endion households can walk or drive five minutes to.
One address caution. The company's own page prints the ZIP as 55811, which is the Miller Hill and west-side code, not London Road's. The Census geocoder assigns 55812 to this parcel, and 55812 is what this record publishes, because a wrong ZIP breaks navigation and mail even when every other part of the address is right.
The group publishes menus but no daily opening hours on any of its location pages, so this guide gives none. Call before you go.
Good to know: steaks, full bar, banquet and event space, London Road, one of three Black Woods restaurants.
