The Trophy Lodge is on South Mont Du Lac Road on the Wisconsin bank of the St. Louis River, across the water from Fond du Lac at the far western tip of Duluth.
It is included here for a geographic reason that a Duluth-only list would miss. Fond du Lac has essentially no commercial ground of its own, and the nearest options are up Commonwealth Avenue in Gary-New Duluth or across the river into Wisconsin. Households at this end of the city cross the state line for ordinary things, and this is one of the places they cross for.
The trade here follows the recreation area's season, so opening is not year-round in any predictable way. Confirm before you make the drive.
