About Louise's Place Cafe + Pantry Provisions

Louise's Place at 19 Waterfront Drive started more than twenty years ago as a bake and coffee shop. Dan and Marsha Snowdon took it over in 2015 and expanded it into breakfast, lunch, and daily specials, with a pantry provisions counter alongside (Louise's Place, accessed 2026-08-13).

Its Waterfront Drive address puts it right in the working part of town near Agate Bay and the ore docks, a short walk from Lighthouse Point and the Sonju Trail.

Two Harbors' restaurant scene splits between places that serve travelers on Highway 61 and places that serve the town, and the cafes tend to do both, which is part of what makes eating here pleasant in a way that pure tourist towns are not. Note that hours on the North Shore shift substantially between the summer and fall season and the winter.
