About Canal Park Brewing Company

Canal Park Brewing Company is the district's own brewery, on Canal Park Drive with a patio facing Lake Superior. It brews on site, pours a rotating tap list, and runs a full kitchen with pub food alongside a handful of larger entrees.

The patio is the reason to go. Sitting outside with the lake in front of you and the lift bridge down the block is a specific Duluth experience, and on a warm evening it is one of the busiest tables in the city. In winter the room is quieter and the taproom feels more like a neighborhood bar, which for the small resident population of Canal Park is closer to its actual function.

Along with Vikre Distillery a few blocks away, it gives the district a locally produced drinks scene rather than only a tourist one.
