The Kenwood Neighborhood Association represents residents of Duluth's Kenwood area, part of the city's long-running community club and neighborhood association system that gives each area a recognized voice in planning and development decisions.

It has had real work to do. Kenwood sits where a mid-century shopping center meets a residential grid, and commercial development pressure on the parcels around the Kenwood Shopping Center has produced repeated planning cases, including proposals that the Duluth Planning Commission has placed on hold. For a neighborhood whose defining amenity is also its defining land-use conflict, the association is the main channel through which residents engage that process.

For someone new to Kenwood, it is the fastest way to understand what is proposed nearby and what the neighborhood's position on it is.
